This is a REALLY good song, but...

This song is fantastic, no doubt about it... except, it just doesn't feel like Madness to me. Its too honorably, it isn't quite sinister/evil enough, and it needs to be a little bit more fast paced. Remember Madness is all about the fast action, fighting and gun scenes, this isn't really that kind of song to be playing.

It's still a great song, it just isn't Madness though, sorry :(

Hmmmm

Your on the right track, but your still lacking the Madness feeling. Like for instance, a lot of people are missing the idea that Madness is suppose to be like Heavy Metal kind of Hardcore; while yes, your sound does seem a little sinister the violins ruin it. I'm not saying violins are bad (you can thank the audio experts of Bioshock for that). What you should try doing is making all the instruments lower pitched, I downloaded your song, put it in Windows Media Player and slowed it down, and it definitely sounded more sinister in a way but not as faced paced and with poorer quality (but that was to be expected)

All I'm saying is you should make it as menacing as possible, try looking up Cheshyre in the audio portal. He was the original artist for most of the Madness songs (as you've probably already heard) he also has a number of songs that would be suitable for any Madness submission.

NOTE: ALL THE MADNESS SONGS HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON "MOOD"

A MOOD THAT CREATES EITHER UNCONTROLLABLE RAGE AND CHAOS OR UNDENIABLE FEAR AND CORRUPTION...

XD... Yes this would be a dark song if I wanted to... BUT, It's called happy madness times. I wanted to be original. Not exactly with instruments choice, (well okay they are also kinda original, but that's because I wanted to make it happy) but more original with the "genre"... I wanted to create some happiness for Hank! I can make dark songs, but I tried to be original this time. You didn't like it because you were expecting something dark. And maybe this is not going to work XD but it was a decent try I think...

Although thanks for writing me this good review. (and I haven't seen too much of Madness, so that could also be a missing factor)

You have a good tempo, but there dosn't seem to be a climax to your music (but thats proble what you were trying to do) you proble could have put a few more mix beats in there, good chill music though.

when ever I listen to it, it gives me this hardcore feeling, like this really tuff guy just punched this other guy so hard in the face his head turned around so fast that it broke his neck!, as well as making him fly several 100 feet in front of him.
Or maybe these gangstas getting their AK-47's and 9mm's ready for this big battle thats obout to happen...either way its real TOUGH-GANGSTER like, but I think I heard some skipping in it so if you fix that it'll be perfect
